I am an average Filipina girl who dream of having a nice and elegant home.  Right now I am proud of the way I decorate my house.  I  love to lit scented candles and to accent I added gems stones with variety colors depending on the colors for holiday.  For Christmas decoration I am thinking to used a clear flower vase with plant either real or plastic with glass gems stone inside with different colors.  Right now I am looking for a green, red and white combination for gems stones.  I already looked to different stores but I no luck to find what i am looking for>  I may found the colors I want but the price a little bit out of my budget so i still keep looking. 

Thanks to technology I Google where i can be able to buy gems stone.  Luckily I did find one site where they have variety colors of Glass Gems. This site is perfect on what i am looking for.  Price is just right for me.  I will definitely  buy red, white and green glass gems in here.

Staying Home for the day

Since I started working I can't remember when was the last time I was home alone.  For a change today i have scheduled time off from work.  The kids were at school, my mom had part time job and Roger went to work and I was home alone.  I was loving it.  I did accomplished a lot.  I able to do the laundry,  clean and organized the girls bedroom, wrap couple Christmas presents for the girls , clean the whole house and did able to bake pandesal.  Wow when was the last time I did house chores alone.  I was the one who picked up the girls at the bus stop as well.  I wish I can do this often but I know having a full time job I can't.

This made me realized once in a while I should take time off from work just to stay home and do what it needs to be done around the house.  I can go out and do shopping but why I have to go out and spend money while I can just stay home and do things I have been wanting to do around the house.  today was a great opportunity for me to do all of this. 

Now that my day is almost over later I will be preparing our supper before my husband gets home and do a little bit of grocery shopping that I was not sble to do over the weekend.

Tomorrow back to reality; back to work.  :-)

Facebook addict

Since the 1st day I found out about facebook I have been addicted to it. I can say i am one of those people who are addicted to facebook. my day is not complete if I don't check facebook.

Facebook is the main source I can be able to keep in touch with my family and friends all over the world. This is more a journal of my life. I keep updating my status on what I am up to at every day. I post pictures of my family in here as well in order for my family especially in Philippines to be able to see how happy i am in the life I choose. I maybe away physically from them but we are just facebook away. Thanks to the technology it make our life easier.

In facebook not only you will be able to find your family and friends but you will find good deals on your favorite stores to shop. For business company they also have facebook account. You might be surprise even to look for bargain for plane tickets to fly around the world they also have account like Expedia uk facebook. A lot of us usually go directly to expedia.com site to book for hotels or flight. Don't you know they also have facebook account. If I were you like their facebook account and this way you will find out if their are sales out there. 

The Filipino Channel

I have been in US for over 11 years but I only have 1 year of opportunity to watch Filipino show.  But when TFC start hooking up with dish network I lost my subscription.  Sad to say comcast don't offer TFC in my area.  Until when we found out verizon is offering not only TFC but as well as GMA channel.  I was so excited but I have to wait until verizon come in to our area to hook up the wirings as they are new in the area.  After at least 2 years of waiting i finally have the TFC. 

I was telling my husband Roger that this is good for my mom wherein she is always home.  My husband even teased me that this will be great for myself as well but my response was no I am too busy to set down and watch TV.  To my surprise I watch too much TV now than before. Our television down stairs is always in Filipino channel. I been thankful to tivo box because I can be able to tape my favorite soap opera.

To the Filipino channel thank you ABS-CBN for thinking about us.  

Brain Cancer

My husband's cousins Denise;  her husband have brain cancer and been going through treatment to make him feel better.  He already went through radiation and now he is doing the chemo.  Base on what the family is saying he is having some complication.  We are keep praying for him for his fast recovery.  And then just beofre Thanksgiving we found out Denise have brain cancer as well.  W hat an odd husband and wife have this kind of illness.  Doctors said they never had this before. 

Before Denise found out that she have cancer she was having this wicked bad head ache that she never experience before.  When this happened she was at the hospital with her husband who went through chemo. She told her family that she had this very bad headache and a feeling like a mild stroke.  So the husband advise her to go to the emergency room.  So she did, and doctors did a CT Scan.  Found out she had a brain tumor and doctor schedule to have a surgery a week after and test found out she also have a brain cancer the same with her husband.  So everyone was so shock. I just feel so bad with their kids.  Not just their father or step dad have the cancer but now their mom as well.  At least because of this situation they become more close to each other.

If your in a situation of being hopeless this is the time you will find out who are your family and friends.  I just felt bad that Roger and I did not do much as we should.  If  this is in our situation I know they will be all 100 percent behind us.  I just hope they know that they are always in our thought and prayers. 

Oh God please help my family especially Denise and Dave to feel better and be cancer free.
