Parent Teacher Conference

Today we went to talk to Leonas’ teacher. Our 2nd time parent teacher conference, as what we expect she still doing great. For her level skill she is definitely ready to move to 1st grade. If the teacher gave her a picture she can now right 2 or 3 sentences. She even told us that she is doing great in math doing the addition and subtraction. Do well about recognizing coins. Leona even do better than me when it comes to coins because I admit it I know their coins but if you will ask me about penny, dimes and nickels? I have to think first before I can give you the right one. I definitely can tell you that she can read better now. Her grammar is even better than mine. Sometimes she corrects her sister and me sometimes.

We will be going back for another conference around spring time but this time for us to be able to know what class she will belong for 1st grade and we will be able to see the classroom as well.

I am really a proud mom. All my hard work really been paid off.

Playing Fantasy Baseball

Living in the Boston area everyone is a Red Sox fan. Baseball is a very important game to all Bostonians. My husband Roger told me about fantasy baseball sports and how you can make money. You could make thousands from playing the game.

Spring Time

Finally spring is around the corner. One thing I love spring is plants start growing. The bulbs that I planted around the yard are now starting popping out. Ever since I love flowers, in Philippines I had planted flowers all over our yard. Moving and living here in America where weather keeps changing, I prefer to plant flower in a planter. Right now I have a bunch of decorative planters outside my house. Hopefully once the weather start warming my plants that planted on it will go back to grow.

As I had been saying on my previous post I prefer to have plant than a cut flowers. My husband knows that I always love to have hanging plants inside my house. A nice hanging indoor planter will be nice. Right now I have indoor planter that given to me by a close family. This year I am planning to plant flowers and I need window box planters against my outside window. Right outside my kitchen I have a small garden that I let my girls plant their own choice of flowers.

If Massachusetts’ weather is all year nice and warm, I will not be going to worry about planters. It is okay I kind of get used to it by now. At least every year I can have different flowers on my own planters. How about you how you want your flowers to be planted?

I love listening to music; anywhere in my house there is always a radio even in my shower. I love all kinds of music pop, and some of rap music. Nut lately I have to watch out myself listening music on radio especially if my girls are around. I noticed that they can pick up the words that quick especially Leona.
