The Filipino Channel

I have been in US for over 11 years but I only have 1 year of opportunity to watch Filipino show.  But when TFC start hooking up with dish network I lost my subscription.  Sad to say comcast don't offer TFC in my area.  Until when we found out verizon is offering not only TFC but as well as GMA channel.  I was so excited but I have to wait until verizon come in to our area to hook up the wirings as they are new in the area.  After at least 2 years of waiting i finally have the TFC. 

I was telling my husband Roger that this is good for my mom wherein she is always home.  My husband even teased me that this will be great for myself as well but my response was no I am too busy to set down and watch TV.  To my surprise I watch too much TV now than before. Our television down stairs is always in Filipino channel. I been thankful to tivo box because I can be able to tape my favorite soap opera.

To the Filipino channel thank you ABS-CBN for thinking about us.  

Brain Cancer

My husband's cousins Denise;  her husband have brain cancer and been going through treatment to make him feel better.  He already went through radiation and now he is doing the chemo.  Base on what the family is saying he is having some complication.  We are keep praying for him for his fast recovery.  And then just beofre Thanksgiving we found out Denise have brain cancer as well.  W hat an odd husband and wife have this kind of illness.  Doctors said they never had this before. 

Before Denise found out that she have cancer she was having this wicked bad head ache that she never experience before.  When this happened she was at the hospital with her husband who went through chemo. She told her family that she had this very bad headache and a feeling like a mild stroke.  So the husband advise her to go to the emergency room.  So she did, and doctors did a CT Scan.  Found out she had a brain tumor and doctor schedule to have a surgery a week after and test found out she also have a brain cancer the same with her husband.  So everyone was so shock. I just feel so bad with their kids.  Not just their father or step dad have the cancer but now their mom as well.  At least because of this situation they become more close to each other.

If your in a situation of being hopeless this is the time you will find out who are your family and friends.  I just felt bad that Roger and I did not do much as we should.  If  this is in our situation I know they will be all 100 percent behind us.  I just hope they know that they are always in our thought and prayers. 

Oh God please help my family especially Denise and Dave to feel better and be cancer free. 

I wish to have a New Car

I just have my drivers license this year around March. I tell you it boost more confident on myself now that I can drive without dragging my husband.  I just wish right now that i have my own car.  But I understand we can afford to get a new one right at this moment.  we have more things to worry.  But if i get a chance I will in a heart bit.

If opportunity comes I will not be buying an expensive cars but I do wish  to have a Lexus.  Am i ambitious or what.  but hey nothing wrong to make a wish right?  As a fresh driver i guess it is better for me to buy the not expensive one just for in-case i will not be feeling sorry.   

My friend Imee we had this conversation once on what kind of car we want to have.  One of those cars is the Lexus.  Now that we are in the last month of 2011.  There are new Lexus car the 2012 that already out in the market.  For a simple person like Imee and I we are only until to dream but never know if we keep buying lottery we might hit the jackpot and here we go we can affrod to buy the car in our dream.


For now i will just keep working until i get what a dream for.  If other people can afford to buy their dream car why can't I right? 

Pharmaceutical Company

Roger and i work in  a pharmaceutical company who supply medications to nursing home all over the country.  We have Pharmacy located around the States.  We have regional business office (RBO) in Longmont, Colorado and in Massachusetts.

Working in this company you may think we wear scrubs but that is not the case.  Only those who work in the Pharmacy are allowed to wear scrub uniforms and lab coats for the Pharmacists.  RBO employee are required to wear business casual; only we even don't have casual Fridays where we can wear jeans.

Others may prefer to wear business casual than wearing scrub but to my opinion I just wish we have the option on what we are going to wear.  Anyway working n RBO no one will able to see what we are wearing excepts ourselves.

 

Christmas 2011

Now that thanksgiving is over.  everyone are now in the mood for Christmas.  People are now busy buying Christmas presents for everyone.  After Thanksgiving everyone are starting to put their Christmas decoration and making a lists on what to get for their love-once.  I maybe one of those people who hate to shop in a crowd i prefer to shop online.  Because of this i started doing my Christmas shopping around September.  I may pick up couple things here and there.  But i can say right now i am done i only need to buy what to put on stockings.

My family and I put our Christmas decoration right after Thanksgiving but we wait a week after to buy our Christmas Tree.   right now our 2011 Christmas decoration is up.  Because we are done with our Christmas shopping we can more relax and watch Christmas movies. 

Sometimes it is better to think in advance.  The reason why we did our shopping in advance because we received our Christmas club money on the 1st week of November.  But either way we prefer to do shopping in advance as I said i hate shopping in a crowd.
