I need a storage space?

Having a house with no enough closet is not great especially us who have a lot of stuff. My husband love to read books and he collects coin and card. Sometimes I don’t know where to put them. I wish I can just throw them in the dumpster but I don’t think it is a good idea. I was thinking to have an extra storage outside the house. I don’t care how small or big, the important is I have extra space where I can put some stuff that as of now we don’t use. Right now we have some decorations for each holidays. I want to keep them. Some clothes that maybe in the future I still can wear them. Wish me luck on this hahahahah. Anyway I prefer to put all extra boxes in the storage. A Metal Buildings for storage is good enough. As long as it keeps dry and no leaks inside rain or shine or even snow can’t get inside is great for the purpose.

My brother-in-law prefers to have a wooden one but hey the lesser money to spend is better for me. I hate to spend on something that I know there is a cheaper way. Roger is fine with a Metal Buildings for storage, we’ll see if he is fine with it when we have to put it together. He is not the typical guy who enjoyed putting stuff together. I will cross my finger that no swearing while we are working on it. Wish me luck everybody.

Feeling Unwelcome

Last Saturday my family was invited to a kid’s birthday party. The mother is a Filipino I met her on friendster, but not yet been introduced with each other personally. The party starts at 12pm to 3 pm. We got there just right on time. Not much people yet. The host was somewhere busy preparing for herself and the husband was right there I introduced my family to him first. We were standing up for at least 10 minutes and without any invitation we set on the couch for another 15 minutes that was awkward. There was couple Filipino but not even one introduced them. Until somebody I know came and I have somebody to talk to and especially when Jessiettes’ family arrives the more I was happy now finally I have a friend and Roger have someone to talked to. I felt bad about him. I never felt that way before especially on meeting new friends for the first time. Especially my kids they usually no problem on meeting new friends but them they stayed with us until Bernadette came.

At least until the host was out busy entertaining everybody she was nice very nice and her husband as well. But the other visitors they had we felt not welcome. You can tell the way they look at you like you who are. I know they already have this special click with each other and as the newbie to the group at least one of them should introduced themselves and make us feel welcome. I met a couple of them they are nice the rest I am not sure. I did have a conversation with others but more on an American mother who have 2 young kids. Can’t remember her name she was nice.

Overall the party was okay. The kids were having fun afterwards. They have a lot of games and did some crafts. It was a gorgeous day. Foods were great. A lot of Filipino foods, I love most the dinuguan and the turon, uhmmm yummy.

What's The Best Bedroom Theme?

Last Sunday I was ambitious to do cleaning around the house especially in my kid’s bedroom. I took out all the clothes that they no longer fits and give it to Salvation Army. Now spring time they want to have a new look on their bedroom. Leona wants princesses stuffs while Angel wants to have fairies. Now I am thinking how I will do this that not going to cost me that much. Both of them sleep in different bed. Leona has a queen size bed and Angel a full size. These kids are very lucky because they are sleeping in a big size bed by themselves. As I remember way back home in Philippines I have a full size bed and I have to share it with my sister and sometimes with two other people if we have company in the house. Anyway back to my kids, I am thinking to buy them their own Kids Bedding that they really want. Right now both have matching Kids Bedding set. Little by little I will buy more decoration for their bedroom according to their choice of bedroom theme.

I prefer to have a specific theme in each part of my house anyway. Like in my bedroom I have an Angel theme and my bathroom is palm and I am thinking to switch to dolphin or penguin. For the kids bedroom I will mix and match princess and fairies. What do you think? Is it a good idea to have a theme in every part of the house especially the bedroom? How about you what is your bedroom theme?

Here are my kids when Leona was almost 3 years old and Angel was still a baby, oh my my babies are growing too quick. They used to sleep in a crib now in a big girl bed and we are in the process of having a new theme in their bedrooms? My oh my.
