Missing Someone

"Life is too short" a simple quotation that keeping my husband and I try to do some fun and memorable things with our family. We learned our lesson when after mother-in-law past away. We thought we will be having her for a long time.

When my father-in-law passed away we lived together with my mother-in-law. On that year during her last year of living we focus on fixing and cleaning the house. We had a plan to have our vacation on the following year because we thought she was that healthy. But surprised as on the month of October 2004 we noticed jaundiced on her eyes. But she wait to go to her doctor after she hosted a birthday party for her son Mike Roger's brother. She was diagnosed with liver cancer. That she only have 3 to 6 months to live with chemo. But that was not the casethe day before thanksgiving of 2004 we burried her. It was not a good thanksgiving for all of us.

Every thanksgiving we always remember that we burried her day before even that she died November 21st. This year will be 8 years lving without her. Spiritually she always in our heart. I love her so much. She was one of a kind person we get along so well. She treated me as her own daughter. She had been telling everyone "she could never pick a better wife for her son". That meant a lot to me. I hear her at least many times telling this to people infront of me.

To you Mom Annette you miss you so much. We will see you but not in the near future.

Happy halloween

Another year of trick or treating!!! Girls dressed up as Hermoine Jean Granger from Harry Potter for Leona and Frankie Stine for Angel. They got lucky because weather was not bad at all considering we have snow day before and snow still on the ground.

As usual we went to Norton reservoir. This is great place to do trick or treat. People are really into it. Houses well decorated, people acting up. Overall a safe place for everyone. Kids ended with a bunch of candies.

We able to see Mike and his family. Did visit Steve and buddy and surprise Liza at her work. O am sure that made her night.

Once again everyone had great time. The girls had a good amount of candies. Now I just have to make it sure they will only have to eat 2 candies.

Mc Donald's Happy Meal

Today was one of those cold day. For month of October we already have our first snow. It is too early everyone are not prepared for this one yet. Today as a thought Roger and I bought a mc Donalds happy meal. To the thought they will be happy. But we were all surprise To see what's inside their happy meal bag. A French fries that according to the girls fries are not even enough for their American girl doll.

Is this what the first lady's idea? You know what other people have no rights what we want to eat or what we should eat. I thought we have the freedom. But she is doing she is making decisions for parents on what kids should eat. The French fries that go with the happy meal was nothing. They are less that 10 fries in it. There are 5 slices of apple but you can't even eat them they are sour. Is that healthy? I don't think so. Instead having a happy meal my girls said this is a sad meal. Next time please don't go to Mc Donald? You think this will help them by losing customers?

Health Issue

Inorder to live longer we have to take care of ourselves. Must have good balance diet by eating healthy foods and take exercise. But a lot of us don't do this.

My husband is taking meds for his heart problem. He will be taking this for the rest of his life. And because he also have cholesterol problem he is taking Meds for this as well. But for some reason he stop taking the cholesterol meds for at least 6 months now. He just went back on taking it. Now his body is adjusting to it.

We end up going to the emergency hospital. While we were at work he was having pain somewhere his groin and and left bottom back; somewhere the kidney area. Called the primary doctor to consult what he feel but advice us to go the hospital.

Just recently we talked about keeping ourselves healthy. Hope nothing major to worry about. So help us God.

Christmas is almost here!!!

It's was a beautiful Saturday, Roger and I were in the mood to start our Christmas shopping. The girls already gave us a list on what they wanted for Christmas. I tell you oh boy my kids are really getting big because now most what they want were not dolls anymore. They are now in into electronics. The bigger they get the more expensive stuff they want. But they both deserve it. I am so proud of my kids. They are a very good girl. They might have moments but overall they are a very well behave girls.

But anyway back to our Christmas shopping we are at 70% or 80% done. We will just need to buy the more expensive one in their lists. I even did pick up for my mom and for Roger. Life is so good.

We love to do our shopping so ahead of time. So that when on Christmas time we will just sit and enjoy watching Christmas TV shows.

To us presents is important but not as important spending time with the family this special holiday the birth of our creator Jesus Christ.
