I Had A Bad Day

What a bad day I have today on our fraud issue plus from work. That charges that I mentioned on my previous post cleared today. First thing this morning I checked our bank account balance online. That’s how I found out, 3 different charges from the same place 2 for $29.99, and 1 for 34.99, and couple are still pending of 29.99 and $34.99 which probably going to clear tomorrow. We called the bank about it. As they promised once it will clear they will put back our money. We will file a claim so that they can start the investigation. My only comment to the bank about this matter is that why they did not stop releasing the money wherein we already report the problem while it is still on pending. Which means they let this theft steal the money first and start the investigation. Not really happy with the bank right now.

About work maybe of whats going on with our bank account. I did couple mistakes at work but not really a big deal. But one of my coworker keep harassing me that I am on her shit lists because I gave a wrong facility number. I know and understand that she was couple days behind on her job but don't put all on my shoulder all her stress. Of course I don't take a damn i talked back on her, which made everybody laughed because I am the only one got the guts to talked back on her. She is nice its just that she is a pain in a butt. hahaha, what a word I used on her.

But anyway with whats going on today I am still thankful that I still have job and we'll get our money back.

We Got Fraud

It is so scary if you hear news about fraud, about peoples identity been stolen. How much more if you, yourself is the victim. I am saying this because my husband and I are the resent victim. Somehow somebody got hold my husband debit card number. We have no idea how. Last Friday night I checked our bank financial online. Finding out there were couple charges from I was not aware of. Asked my husband if he spent money without my authorization. Because usually if he want to spend on something, he always ask me 1st. I Guess he is scared to get in trouble, lol. Anyway we called our bank and reported the issue. Couple days after, at Sunday night, I checked online again about the problem, guess what? More charges from the same place plus another one, which on my knowledge it is deals with porn sites. So scary because it was Sunday night we can’t do anything about it. We have to wait on the next business day to go to the bank.

So my husband went to the bank, told them about the additional charges. They cancel his ATM card. And we have to keep on track on our account to see if there is still charges if incase somehow this person find a way to hact our computer system and stole our account number to be able to use our account to look at different porn site. What a sick puppy is this person.

From now on my husband and I really have to be more careful. And to all of you who read this, please take my experience as your experience and be always alert on your financial.

Feast of Epiphany

Today is the feast of Epiphany meaning 'appearance'or 'manifestation'. It is a Christian feast intended to celebrate the "shining forth" or revelation of God in human form, to the Gentiles, in the person of Jesus. Commemoration of his birth; the visit of the Magi, or "Wise Men"or every body known as 3 Kings, who arrived in Bethlehem. As an angel came to Mary to say that she will be carrying a baby and she will named him Emmanuel which means God is with us. Or she you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins".

Welcome 2008

A Toss for the New Year with some friends



Wow its already 2008. For over 7 years here in US my 1st time to celebrate it not just with my husband but I celebrated it my closest friends and met some new nice people. We went to Jessiette house in Middletown, Rhode Island. At that moment I felt like I was in Philippines. We had a lot of food on the table. Everybody brought their specialties. Where mine I brought "embotido" ( meat pork roll), cassava cake, and macaroni salad. No diet at that point, hahahaha.

Mommies and the kids

We stayed overnight at Jess house. We went to bed around or after 2AM. It doesn't mean we were sleeping. Eyes wee closed but mind were somewhere. My kids went to bed almost the same time as us. And getting up early. We went home after 12 PM. Once we got home changed our clothes and the 4 of us went to bed. Because we were so tired. Party are exciting but tiring at the same time.

Parent Teacher Conference

Today we went to see my daughters kindergarten teacher. Being a first time parent we had no clue, don't know what to expect. For in the Philippines where I went for school never heard about a parent teacher conference. This is a one on one conference between the parent and the teacher.

We went to talked to my daughters teachers about her improvement, how she does in school. I know she is smart but how she really participate on her class? Mrs Siewers the teacher told us that we should be getting a report card somewhere February and before the school ends. As my daughter Leona, not to exaggerate but she excels on everything. Average student must know there their uppercase and lowercase letter and know how to sound out them by the school year end. Which my daughter knew them all at this moment. She even can draw something and write a story about what she did. The only thing is sometimes she missed up with the spelling but it is normal for kids on her age because they are basing the spelling on the sound. So there is no reason she can't go to 1st grade. Among the class she is one of the 3 that ready to move on the next level. She know most of the sight words too. One thing she told us too, Leona I guess doesn't raise her hand or ask question if she have some trouble. Which I understand because at home I want her to do things on her own, which it is not good.

By all means I did a good a good job on teaching her then. We are so proud of her.
