Out of School

Today my kids did not make it to school.  Due to the snow we received an annuncement from TV and call from the principal that the kids school will be delay for 2 hours.  So this means that the bus pick up schedule will also be delayed for 2 hours.  Here i am before leaving for work kept telling my mom that the bus will pick up the kids @ 10 instead of 8.  I even called from work to make it sure she understood and remember. 

i don't know what she was thinking they start walking going to the bust stop @ 9:15 45 minutes before the pick up time.  On the way they saw from far that a school bust just left.  They thought that, that was the girls bus ride. They went home and the girls did not go to school. 

When i got home from work between my mom and my kids telling me that they did not made it to the bus on time.  The bus was there before 10.  I told them that was not for them that was for the middle school kids.  the principal called to find out where are the girls.  So i guess this will be first thing what we are going to do tomorrow.  Call the school and explain to them what happen. 

I don't know what my mom is thinking.  Bus will arrive @ 10 but they left the house 915 so this means they have to wait 45 minutes in the very cold weather.  No wonder the kids keep complaining that they always cold.  I love my mom but sometimes she is not thinking.  She is not that smart.  Sorry to say this but it is true.
