Things to do on winter

Growing up in a tropical Island called Philippines where climate is always warm all year round.  We don't have winter season.  That is why most of us Filipinos who came here in United States was shock with the cold weather.  It the temperature is in the 60's we thought it is cold. I remember during my first year, first winter everybody keep asking me how I like the weather.  My response always "it is very cold"  they just response back to me that wait it ain't cold yet.  Now I know what they meant.  Because i heard my self saying it at least couple time to Filipinos who just got here.  I just smile inside.

There may not be much to do to do during winter but people finding a way to keep themselves active.  I just thought winter everybody just stay home and  hibernate.  One of the activity you can do go skiing.  My kids gets so excited if snowing out.  They always looking forward to go sledding.  Here in new England a lot of people go to Maine or to White Mountain to ski.  I love to do this at least once in my life.  I will add to my bucket list to ski.

I don't know with you guys but winter is my least favorite season.  I just hate cold.
