Being growing up in Philippines I used to seeing gay or lesbian people is been accepted in the community. Unlike here in US they have to hide their true color. Most of the time they have to pretend who they are but sometimes still showing their true color through their actions. Like one time when I was still working in a fast food restaurant I was amazed how good looking this guy was until I noticed that his eye brow was been shaped and the other guy that with him. So much on this for gay they pretend that they are really guys especially in front of their family. As to pretend they end up into a habit and become addiction. I have a friend who is now a lesbian she even married to this woman. As a lesbian couple they can’t show in public who they are unless they are in a gay or lesbian bar.
Being a lesbian and gay if they a drug and alcohol addiction it is hard for them to go any Drug Rehabilitation . People are prejudice when it comes to people like them. For me honestly I don’t care about them as long as they are not causing any trouble I accept who they are. But no all community is like me. At least now if they have an alcohol and drug problem there is a place for them they can go it is www.gay-rehab.com.
www.gay-rehab.com is great for people like them. It is located in Florida. They treat people as equal as the others. They treat the people’s addiction and not their sexual preference. They do however recognize the need for a person to have a “safe setting” in which to discuss issues without being judged and to that end they have designed “gay only” clinical services within their drug rehab program. This does not mean the LGBT population and heterosexual population is separated; nothing could be farther from the truth. They believe that for an alcohol rehab center to be effective, it must resemble the real world, with a lot more love and acceptance.
You can call drug addiction treatment program anytime, day or night, at 1-800-231-1820 for admission information or a private consultation
