Wizard of Oz

My daughter Leona her birthday was really last December 16th. As I mention on my other post we had 2 party for her. The 2nd party was with her friends in our neighborhood. Our theme was "wizard of Oz". I made the invitation by myself and sent it out.

We had some games Pin a heart on Tin Man, the rule was the as the pin a tail on a donkey. I made a tin Man Using Tin foil and we cut out hearts and colored them red. My girls help me in doing this. Another game was follow the yellow brick, we played "follow the yellow brick road " as the music stops kid has to jump on a yellow paper that on the floor, but make it sure we had less paper as the kids. We also had game melt the witch. I put a piece of toothpick (pretend it was the witch broomstick) on an ice, let the kids melt the ice who ever can gave me the witch broomsticks won. The last game was who can give me a loudest and scariest Lion Roar. Each of the kids that was on the party were having a blasts.

The food I only have ice and cupcake but what I did I let them put their own frost and decorate their own cake. Once everybody all set, we all sing a happy birthday and let the celebrant Leona blow her 6th candle.

Overall my daughter had a great time. Now I have to start thinking about my next birthday party which is for my 2nd child, which she wants Tinkerbell Theme.

Sleep Over

After my daughters party, my friend Jess and her family stayed over for sleep over. We went to Lasellette to see the beautiful lights. But no so long for it was so very cold and the path a little bit slippery. We all watch movie spider man 3 together except Leona and Bernadette watched a Barbie movie the Pricess Island. It was a very good and pleasant night even having 2 family in my house all our kids were so well behave, an A plus to us as parents. WE went to bed after 11:30 PM.

Leona's 6th Birthday Party

6th years ago my husband and I were eager to see our baby. Here we are celebrating her 6th years bday. We prepared 2 party for her 1 for the family. The team was "Wizard of Oz". I made the invitation. We had several people came, almost everybody we invited came. We had so much fun. For foods I prepared both Filipino and american cuisine. I made suman and some of my American family tried. They liked it as they said. But of course the sellable was the spring roll. I really did not had time to do kids game even I was already prepared for it. I will just keep the prices for the next party which is with her friends in the neighborhood. I was so tired but everything worthy.

Good Morning

It's friday morning here, I am not going to work today but it doesn't mean I am not doing anything. Just only to think all my errand for the day, I wanna think to go back to bed. lol. I have so many thing need to accomplish do shopping, get ready for my daughters 6th birthday party tomorrow Saturday December 5th. I have to start my cooking today so that I can just warm up everything tomorrow.

Still I got up early, my body I guess used to wake up so early in the morning. My husband left around 6:30 for he have an early blood test to be done. The have to check his sugar level. Crossing my finger he doesn'y have sugar problem.

I have to bring my daughter today to her bus stop. Despite of that snow storm yesterday still she have to go. There is only an hour delay for the bus. She is a little bit disappointed but she has to do whats good for her, right?

Snowy Ride

Today we left early at work. The weather was so bad. Snows start falling down around noon time. Almost everybody left early. By 2:30 PM it was already at least 4 inches so I decide to left early. But not right away for I had to ask somebody to cover for me to do my job while I was gone. Especially that tomorrow I will be out.

The road to home was so bad. Almost looks like no body plow the road. Usually took us 45 minutes drive but this time almost 2 hours to get home. Thanks God were got home safe and sound.
